On the menu this week will be Glazed Spicy Chorizo, Patatas Bravas (Baked potato with onion and tomato), Paella, Nummus, Pan con Tomate (similar to Bruscetta) and Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic prawns). Possibly also some homemade tortillas to soak up the juices. Come on Down!!! Opening night music by Lucky Phil.

​When Mark and I had renovations - major renovations - done in Fannie Bay (NT) I swore I would never do it again. Months of brick dust, upheaval and chaos, not to mention noise, early morning disturbance and sweaty workmen was something I never wanted to repeat. However, five months into our Queensland Adventure, here we are again. Some people never learn.

Question - what has webbed feet, the bill of a duck, the tail of a beaver, and the body and fur of an otter? Platypuses are only found in Australia, and then only in a few parts of Australia, so how lucky are we that they can be found just minutes from our doorstep?
